Welcome to a special edition of Enlightenment where we hold our noses and delve into the murky word of politics.
We talk to some of the people behind campaigns to make science and skepticism election issues:
- Dr Hilary Leevers of the Campaign for Science and Engineering chats to us about the Scivote campaign.
- Richard Wilson, author, blogger and flashmobber, chats to us about the skeptical voter site.
- Sile Lane of Sense about Science spares us a few minutes to chat about the importance of libel reform for scientists and science communicators.
As if that wasn’t enough, Martin Robbins, of Lay Science and the Guardian, talks to us about his findings from the litmus test.
Enjoy.
